Pin a web app

  1. Open the site

    Navigate to the web app (mail, docs, a dashboard).

  2. Pin it

    Menu → Add to Home screen.

  3. Launch like an app

    The shortcut opens in its own task, full-screen where the site supports it.

How it works

Omni uses ShortcutManagerCompat to create a launcher shortcut that opens directly to that site. Sites with a web-app manifest get an icon and a more app-like presentation.
